This is different than mouse-tracking. This is an estimation of what your visitors focus on when they see your web page.

It's a predictive algorithm that has been developed, tested, and refined over time. It is rooted in cognitive science, understanding how the brain works and how humans respond. Attention Heatmap Report

The Heatmap Report shows the relative “stopping power” of your web page elements in the form of "hot spots" and "cold spots.” Heatmap colors range from green to red, representing low to high levels of user eye activity. Areas with no color indicate areas that will be overlooked.

Opacity Map Report

The Opacity Map Report is another tool for visualizing and identifying areas of your web page that are getting attention. The most transparent areas are those that attract more attention; the opaque areas are those that viewers ignore. The Opacity Map displays what viewers perceive during those all-important first few seconds of visual inspection.

Gaze Plot Report

The Gaze Plot Report, sometimes called a scan path report, maps out the order in which visitors scan elements on a web page. The eyes’ first stop (also called a fixation) is marked with a circle and a number 1. When the visitor’s eyes make a fast movement (called a saccade) to another area, it draws a line to the next stop and plots it. There are up to 30 fixations in the report, representing up to 7.5 seconds gaze path.

Areas of Interest (AOI) Report

The Areas of Interest Report measures the percentage of the attention that key areas are drawing. 0% means the area is drawing no attention at all, and 100% means this area will be mostly noticeable.

You can use the AOI report to determine which areas of your webpage are getting the most attention and which areas need more attention.

Fixations Data Report

The Fixations Data Report goes into more detail by showing how long (in milliseconds) visitors’ eyes stopped on different Areas of Interest before moving to the next one.

You use this report to see where the visitor is spending most of their time. Then you can target adjustments to put more and longer focus on key parts of your webpage.

How long will it take?

Typically 2 business days or less. There is some manual work, so it depends on what's in the queue. Our goal is to turn this as fast as possible. Like most people, we love instant gratification - so we want you to see the results as fast as possible.

Do you have to install anything on your website?

No - for the eye-tracking analysis.

Yes - for the Hubspot setup. We have to install a small piece of code on your website. You will need to give us admin login credentials to do that. But you can remove those credientials as soon as we are done.

If you are using Google Tag Manager, then we don't need login credentials for your site. We just need access to Google Tag Manager.
